CoSchedule is it worth it?
I’m a new blogger and I am still learning a lot about everything there is to do about Blogging, but one of my main concerns is learning when, where and how to post to different social media platforms with ease and how reduce how time consuming it is. Not necessarily the writing of the blogs themselves, they come quite quickly and naturally to me, and not even creating the graphics and images for the posts either. What I have learned is one of the most time consuming things about blogging is the social media aspect. How do you get people to come and see all of your hard work? Here is my CoSchedule Review and how it has reduced the time consuming aspect of posting and promoting your blog posts.
For a while I was spending hours upon hours posting my blog posts on different social media groups, boards and twitter feeds. Then one day someone asked about CoShedule and how it will automatically send out your posts for you whenever you decide you want that to happen. I was instantly intrigued and signed up right away for the free trial (which many other online schedulers don’t provide for you).
Why It Is Good?
It is so easy to navigate, and schedule in your posts right from your WordPress dashboard or from their website.
It is easy to assign it to different social media profiles so you can easily post to all your social media platforms.
What I love about it most is that you can schedule when you want your blog post to be ‘posted’ right at the bottom of the post, you don’t need to open up any other program or website.
CoSchedule keeps track of your top posts, where people are reading it most, how many people from what platform have read it, when it is posted, what image goes with what post, and shows you a preview on what each post will look like.
You can see your posts laid out in a monthly calendar so it is easily seen when and where each post will be.
You can choose a particular time or “best time” which is particularly convenient for me since I do most of my ‘posting’ at night.
There is a rating tool that helps you title your blog posts to be the most successful and powerful.
How is it Better than Other Social Media Schedulers?
I have tried and cancelled many other editorial calendars and I ended up returning to CoSchedule because of it’s ease, its convenience, its straight forward layout, and so much more.
I like how you can drag and drop a scheduled event to a different date easily and in a no nonsense kind of way.
What are it’s limitations?
Honestly there aren’t many, the price is a little steep, especially for a beginner blogger, but they do have referral programs to cut costs a bit.
There isn’t a way to post to different Facebook Groups that you are not an admin for, which can be a bit discouraging, but not a deal breaker for sure.
